Singer Adnan Sami's Twitter account hacked, profile picture changed to Pak PM's
Mumbai: Singer Adnan Sami's Twitter account was allegedly hacked on Tuesday by Ayyildiz Tim, the same Turkish hacker group, Ayyildiz Tim, which attacked megastar Amitabh Bachchan's microblogging page a day ago.
Similar to how Bachchan's profile was compromised, the group replaced Sami's profile picture with a photo of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and changed the bio, adding "Ayyildiz Tim Love Pakistan" with an emoji of Pakistani and Turkish flags.
Sami previously held a Pakistani passport and received Indian citizenship in 2015.
Late Monday night around 11.40 pm, the same group hacked into Bachchan's account, also tweeting the link of its 'official' Instagram page, though unverified, writing "We are waiting for your support."
Bachchan's page was restored within half-an-hour after the Mumbai Police alerted the cyber unit. The group had previously hacked Twitter accounts of actors Shahid Kapoor and Anupam Kher among others as well.

Mangaluru: BJP accuses Congress of distributing fake pamphlet ahead of elections
Mangaluru: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has lodged a complaint against the Congress party, alleging the circulation of a fake pamphlet on social media aimed at defaming BJP candidate Captain Brijesh Chowta and maligning the Bunta community.
Co-convener of the district BJP legal cell, Deviprasad V. Samani, stated that the pamphlet was purportedly issued under the fictitious name of "Bunt Brigade Dakshina Kannada, Mangaluru," and contained objectionable content. This pamphlet, featuring the image of Captain Brijesh Chowta, has reportedly been widely circulated on social media platforms, potentially sowing discord among communities.
Accusing the Congress of exploiting the situation for electoral gain, Samani seeked attention towards the timing of the pamphlet's circulation, just two days before polling day. The BJP has formally registered a complaint with the Dakshina District Electoral Officer, seeking appropriate legal action against those responsible for the dissemination of the fake material.
The complaint has been officially recorded by the district complaint monitoring cell.
