Bengaluru: Disqualified MLA MTB Nagaraj on Tuesday donated a whopping Rs. One Crore to Chief Minister Relief Fund to help people in distress due to heavy rains and floods across the state.
In a video message released by the ex-MLA himself he added that his move is just a contribution to help the people in distress.
"People of 17 Districts have lost all their properties and are facing problems. We have tried helping them by donating Rs. One Crore to CM relief fund from MTB organisation".
After several Districts of the state were hit by floods CM Yediyurappa had urged public and industrialists to help the flood victims by donating to CM relief fund.
In the video the ex-MLA said that the cheque will be handed over to Yediyurappa on Wednesday.
