Kushalanagar: Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has blamed that Narendra Modi is number one in lying while Pratap Simha stands on number two.

Speaking at the Mysore-Kodagu Lok Sabha constituency's Congress-JDS workers' conference in Kushalnagar, he said, "I as a chief minister have fulfilled the 165 manifestos I had given. However, what moral right Narendra Modi, a king of lies does have . Modi should be ashamed of using the names of the martyred soldiers, Siddaramaiah asked.

Three persons run over by train in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Three people were killed when they were run over by a train near Byappanahalli railway station, police said on Thursday.

According to the police, the three persons who were on the track got run over by the Kannur Express, resulting in their instantaneous death.

Two of them have been identified as Shashi Kumar and Lokesh from Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh, but the identity of the third victim could not be ascertained immediately, police said.

Lokesh was a cab driver and Shashi Kumar had recently come to the city in search of a livelihood.
