Thieves break into house in Ujire; steal Rs 10k cash, 50 gram jewelry

 In a case of robbery reported from Ujire of the taluk, thieves broke into a house near Arali in broad daylight and stole cash worth Rs 10,000 as well as 50 gram of jewelry on Thursday.


Paramedic dies by suicide in Mangaluru, alleges harassment and blackmail over private video

 A 26-year-old paramedic at a government hospital here died allegedly by suicide after leaving behind a note accusing four people of "blackmailing and harassing" him using a private video, police said on Friday.
