Mumbai: Dabangg Khan famed Bollywood Icon, Salman Khan, marked his 60ᵗʰ birthday in a gathering with family and close friends at his Panvel farmhouse on Thursday evening.

The actor arrived at Arpita Farms, located about one and half hour from Mumbai, accompanied by his family members, including his father Salim Khan, mother Salma Khan, brothers Sohail and Arbaaz Khan along with his wife Sshura Khan, sisters Arpita Khan Sharma and Alvira Khan Agnihotri, as well as his nephews and niece—Arhaan Khan, Nirvaan Khan, Ahil, and Ayat.

With heavy security arrangements around him, Salman Khan stepped out to acknowledge the media and cut the birthday cake with photographers at the venue.

Last evening, the Bandra-Worli Sea Link in Mumbai was lit up with a special birthday tribute for Salman, which featured his photo and a message that read: "Happy birthday, bhai"
Salman Khan, who made his acting debut in 1988 with 'Biwi Ho To Aisi', has enjoyed a career spanning over three decades. Known for his versatility, he has delivered performances across a wide range of genres, including action, comedy, romance, family dramas, and intense roles, earning him one of the largest and most loyal fan followings in history of Indian cinema.

Actors Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur and cricketer MS Dhoni were present in celebrating Bhaijaan's birthday.

Raichur (Karnataka) (PTI): Two children died on Saturday after a portion of an arch allegedly collapsed on them while they were watching an outdoor play in this district, police said.

The incident occurred in Bail Marchad village in Manvi taluk, they said.

According to police, seven people were sitting under the arch watching the play when the structure suddenly collapsed, killing two children on the spot.

The deceased have been identified as Vishwanath Ramalinga (8) and Sanvita (2).

Vishakshi (25), Lakshmi (18), Vishalakshi (25), Yallamma (3), and Bassamma (45) were injured in the incident and were shifted to Raichur Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital for further treatment, police said.

The bodies have been moved to the mortuary of Manvi Government Hospital, they added.

A case has been registered at Manvi Police Station, and further investigation is underway, police said.
