New Delhi: In a surprising turn of events, comedian Kapil Sharma dropped an explosive promo for his show, hinting at a reunion with former colleague Sunil Grover. The promo suggests that the two comedians have put their past feud behind them and are ready to move forward. In the teaser, Kapil introduces himself, and Sunil Grover shares the frame, signalling their reunion.

Kapil announces, "Hi friends, this is Kapil Sharma, and I am soon coming with a show." Sunil Grover echoes the sentiment, and Kapil proposes, "Let's go together." The banter continues as they discuss the global reach of the show, with Kapil mentioning being broadcasted in over 190 countries. Sunil humorously suggests excluding Australia, to which Kapil responds that even Australia is eagerly awaiting their return. Sunil proposes a road trip instead of flying.

The promo also features Rajiv and Kiku, with Krushna jokingly remarking, "I told you all, if he returns, everyone will get cropped a bit." Archana Puran Singh enters the frame, and Kapil concludes, "Now our family is complete. We are coming soon."

The history of the feud between Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma dates back to 2018 when Sunil abruptly left The Kapil Sharma Show following a major fallout. The disagreement reportedly occurred on a flight back to Mumbai after a show in Australia. Kapil Sharma, in previous statements, has downplayed the rift, stressing his admiration for working with talented individuals in the industry.

The Kapil Sharma Show has been on hiatus since June of this year, and the cast embarked on live show tours across the United States. The show has been a television success since its inception in 2016, with the fifth season premiering in September 2022.
