Actor Diljit Dosanjh has shut up Kangana Ranaut by highlighting her lies on the controversial tweet, now deleted, defaming an elderly Sikh lady, who was on her way to take part in the farmers’ protest. Diljit’s bold tweet slamming Kangana, notorious for peddling fake news, has earned him plenty of plaudits from netizens. This came days after former Bigg Boss contestant Himanshi Khurana aka Punjab’s Aishwarya Rai called Kangana ‘shameless’ for her lies.

This was after Diljit shared a video interview with a Sikh lady, Mahinder Kaur, who Kangana had mischievously identified as Bilkis Dadi of the Shaheen Bagh protest. Tagging Kangana, Diljit sought to expose the Queen actor for her lies. He wrote, “Respected MAHINDER KAUR JI. Ah Sunn La Ni With Proof @KanganaTeam Banda Ena V Ni Anna Hona Chaida..Kush v Boli Turi jandi aa ..”

She wrote, “Ooo Karan johar ke paltu, jo dadi Saheen Baag mein apni citizenship keliye protest kar rahi thi wohi Bilkis Bano dadi ji Farmers ke MSP ke liye bhi protest karti hue dikhi. Mahinder Kaur ji ko toh main janti bhi nahin. Kya drama chalaya hai tum logon ne? Stop this right now.”
Diljit asked if she was the pet of so many filmmakers with whom she had worked in Bollywood. He wrote, “Tuneh Jitne Logon Ke Saath Film Ki Tu Un Sab Ki Paaltu Hai…? Fer To List Lambi Ho Jaegi Maalko Ki..? Eh Bollywood Wale Ni PUNJAB Wale aa .. Hikk Te Vajj Sadey Jhooth bol kar logo ko badhkana aur emotions se khailna woh toh aap achey se janti ho.

Punjabi singer Jassi too publicly shamed Kangana for defaming an old Sikh lady with her lies advising her to worry about the fact that she brought shame to her community.
जब दो सयाने बात कर रहे है तो चुप रहें @teamkangana अपनी बेवक़ूफ़ी का प्रदर्शन ना करें, community की इज़्ज़त का ख़याल रखें. #farmerprotest #supportfarmer https://t.co/DrogTOSnhg

Several other Punjabi artists including Himanshi Khurana, Sargun Mehta, Ammy Virk and Sukhe have slammed Kangana for her lies. Kangana had blocked Himanshi aka Punjab’s Aishwarya Rai after she called her shameless.
A lawyer from Punjab has sent a defamation notice to Kangana for her fake news on the Sikh lady.

New Delhi (PTI): Delhi government will provide collateral-free loans of up to Rs 10 crore to women-led start ups and self help groups in the national capital, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said on Sunday.
The government will also provide platforms in malls and large shopping complexes across the city to help indigenous products made by women self-help groups (SHGs) reach a wider market.
"We are working on a wider scale to make the women of the capital self-reliant, entrepreneurial, and economically empowered. Arrangements have been made for providing collateral-free loans up to Rs 10 crore to women self-help groups and startups," Gupta said in a statement.
She said the Delhi government itself would act as guarantor for such loans extended to women start ups and SHGs.
Addressing the inauguration of a two-day 'Mega Self Help Group (SHG) Mela-2026' organised in Rohini on Saturday, Gupta said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consistently promoted the vision of 'Vocal for Local', 'Atmanirbhar Bharat', and 'One District, One Product'.
She said the SHG Mela was an effort to promote indigenous products prepared by women and connect them with the wider market.
Around 24 self-help groups participated in fair, where handicrafts, crochet work, khadi, household products, food items, and other handmade products were exhibited and sold. Handicrafts under 'One District, One Product' initiative of North-West Delhi district were also showcased.
Gupta said that people often preferred foreign brands despite Indian handicrafts, khadi, household products, and handmade items being comparable in quality.
"The only requirement is better branding and marketing of these products," she said.
She appealed to people to use more local and indigenous products instead of foreign goods.
Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal to conserve fuel, use public transport, and adopt indigenous products, Gupta said the Delhi government was also promoting campaigns such as 'Monday metro' and 'No Vehicle Day'.
"If people make small changes in their daily routine, it will directly benefit the country," she said.
