Dubai : Bearys Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCI),Mangaluru is scheduled  to form its UAE chapter on 19th October,2018 ,at Pearl Creek Hotel, Deira,Dubai.

BCCI President Haji S.M.Rasheed will preside over the function. U.T.Khader, Minister for housing and Urban Development, B.M.Farook, MLC, Thumbay Moidin, Founder President of Thumbay Group, Abdul Latheef, Mohammed Mansoor and other dignitaries will attend the function.

In line with forthcoming inaugural program an organizing and reception committee was formed recently. Its preliminary meeting was held on 7th September-2018 at the Conference Room, Burj Khalifa Residence, Dubai. Dr.B.K.Yusuf Presided over the function. Imran Ahmed Recited the Qirath.

Muhammed Ali Uchil and S.M.Basheer briefed on the meeting. Dr.B.K.Yusuf, Muhammed Ali Uchil, S.M.Basheer, and Althaf Khatib were assigned as organizers to liaise with Parent body, the members and call meeting, booking of venue and sending emails/whatsapp on schedules of the further meetings.

Abdulla Madumoole, M.E.Moolur, Hidayathulla, Moidin Kutty Haji, Althaf Diamond, Abdul Ravoof, Tanveer Razak, Lathif Mulki, Mohammed Ibrahim naveed and Siddik Uchil are the other committee members. Vote of thanks was rendered by S.M.Basheer and a special thanks was given to Hidayathullah.

Medininagar (PTI): A couple and their 18-year-old son were allegedly hacked to death over suspicion of practising witchcraft in Jharkhand's Palamu, police said on Sunday.

Their minor daughter was also injured in the attack late on Saturday, a police officer said.

The bodies were recovered from their house on Sunday in Panki police station area, he said.

“Initial investigation suggests that the case is related to witchcraft suspicion,” Manoj Kumar Jha, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Lesliganj told PTI.

A manhunt is on to nab the culprits, Jha said.

The girl suffered severe injuries and has been admitted to a government hospital, he said.

The deceased have been identified as Vijay Bhuiyan (45), his wife Kalia Devi (40), and their son Chotu Bhuiyan.

The bodies have been sent to Medinirai Medical College and Hospital (MMCH) for post-mortem examination.
