Dubai Ducati Championship : Nasir Syed from Moodbidri bags 3rd place
Dubai, Nov 18: Nasir Syed from Moodbidri , who is now settled in UAE has bagged third place Ducati championship Superbike race held in Dubai on 17th November. 16 racers from 12 countries participated in the first two races. In both the races, Nasir secured third place. Nasir is the son of Syed Mohidin from Moodbidri in Dakshina Kannada. Nasir is a well known entrepreneur and also a popular international superbike rider settled in UAE.
This championship has total 12 races in next 6 months. Italian Sashka won the first place and Nasser Al Sheba from UAE got second place. Nasir raced in Ducati 959 super bike.
His son Abdul Sami is also making a mark in international super bike racing. Recently he won first place in first and second races of Bahrain Super sports Championship held at Bahrain International Circuit .

Couple, son 'hacked' to death over witchcraft suspicion in Jharkhand's Palamu
Medininagar (PTI): A couple and their 18-year-old son were allegedly hacked to death over suspicion of practising witchcraft in Jharkhand's Palamu, police said on Sunday.
Their minor daughter was also injured in the attack late on Saturday, a police officer said.
The bodies were recovered from their house on Sunday in Panki police station area, he said.
“Initial investigation suggests that the case is related to witchcraft suspicion,” Manoj Kumar Jha, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Lesliganj told PTI.
A manhunt is on to nab the culprits, Jha said.
The girl suffered severe injuries and has been admitted to a government hospital, he said.
The deceased have been identified as Vijay Bhuiyan (45), his wife Kalia Devi (40), and their son Chotu Bhuiyan.
The bodies have been sent to Medinirai Medical College and Hospital (MMCH) for post-mortem examination.
