Manama (Press Release): Bahrain’s premier luxury lifestyle magazine, Life ‘N Style, unveiled its latest edition, Volume 02 Issue 06 Summer 2024, on September 28, 2024, at the Gulf Hotel and Convention Centre in Manama. The cover features His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who played a pivotal role in leading Bahrain’s Olympic team at the Paris Olympics 2024.
The high-profile launch event, held at the Gulf Hotel & Convention Centre, was a glittering ceremony attended by eminent personalities from Bahrain’s foremost industries. The event commenced with a welcome by the Master of Ceremonies, Ahdeya. Chief Guest Mohammad A. Jabbar Al Kooheji revealed the sixth issue of the magazine using a remote to play a video showcasing the magazine and praised it for its contribution to promoting Bahrain globally. Distinguished guests included ambassadors from France, Brazil, Malaysia, Nepal, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and other notable figures.
Chairman Mohammad Mansoor praised His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa for Bahrain’s historic Olympic victory, stating that this achievement is a testament to his unwavering dedication and excellence in sports. The issue also features thrilling moments from His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad’s Royal Ascot and the competitive spirit of the McLaren victory of His Royal Highness Shaikh Salman bin Hamad, proclaiming Bahrain as the sports kingdom of the Arab world. New Delhi (PTI): Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 16.6 degrees Celsius, one notch below normal, on Tuesday as the city is expected to see partly cloudy sky, with daytime temperatures set to cross 30 degrees Celsius, the weather office said.
Minimum temperatures across other stations showed slight departures from normal levels. Palam recorded 17.4 degrees Celsius, 0.5 notch above normal, while Lodi Road logged 16.1 degrees Celsius, also one notch above normal.
At the Ridge station, the minimum temperature stood at 17.1 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal, whereas Ayanagar recorded 16.7 degrees Celsius, one notch below normal.
The maximum temperature likely to settle around 31 degrees Celsius, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Rainfall activity was negligible, with only trace amounts recorded at Safdarjung and Lodi Road, while Palam received 0.4 mm rainfall. Ridge recorded 2.0 mm and Ayanagar 0.8 mm in the 24-hour period ending 8:30 am.
Delhi's air quality was recorded in the "moderate" category with an AQI of 168, according to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
As per CPCB standards, an AQI of 0-50 is considered 'good', 51-100 'satisfactory', 101-200 'moderate', 201-300 'poor', 301-400 'very poor', and 401-500 'severe'.
