Facebook shuts down three of its apps

Facebook has announced it is shutting down its fitness app "Moves", Android app "Hello" and anonymous social media app "tbh".

Facebook is deprecating these apps due to low usage, the company wrote in a blog post late on Monday.


Saalumarada Thimmakka at St. Aloysius College

105 year-old environmentalist Saalumarada Thimmakka on Monday visited St. Aloysius College of the city.

She was here to participate in ‘Vrukshanjali’, an environment conservation programme being conducted in the college. Later, she planted two saplings – Kadamba and Suragi species- and watered them at St. Mother Teresa park on the premises of the Aloysius PU College.
