United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has strongly condemned the April 22 terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam and called for immediate de-escalation of tensions between India and Pakistan.

 A video went viral on the social media here on Tuesday in which two Kashmiri shawl vendors in Mussoorie can be seen being slapped by a group of local men and forced to shut their shop.

Tensions between India and Pakistan intensified as Pakistani troops resorted to unprovoked firing along the Line of Control (LoC) and the International Border (IB) across four border districts in Jammu and Kashmir.
