BJP protest in Kushalnagar over Vinay Somaiah’s suicide; BY Vijayendra, Pratap Simha detained

Madikeri: BJP members, led by State President BY Vijayendra, who staged a protest in Kushalnagar on Saturday, following the alleged suicide of party activist Vinay Somaiah, were detained by the police as they attempted to lay siege to the office of the Deputy Superintendent of Police.

 


50 Munambam residents join BJP after Waqf (Amendment) Bill passed

Ernakulam: Hours after the Parliament passed the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 50 residents from Munambam, a coastal village at the centre of the ongoing Waqf land dispute in Kerala, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
