Newborn’s body found in hospital toilet pit in Ramanagara, police launch probe

In a distressing incident, the body of a newborn boy was discovered in the toilet pit of a private hospital in Harohalli, Ramanagara, on Wednesday. The discovery was made by housekeeping staff at the Chandramma Dayananda Sagar Institute of Medical Education and Research while they were clearing a blockage in the pit, which had been clogged since Tuesday night. Authorities believe the body may have been dumped into the commode that same evening.
