‘Mysuru Maharaja’ Yaduveer Wadiyar 'does not own house, car or land'

Bengaluru: The scion of the erstwhile Mysuru royal family and BJP candidate from Mysore-Kodagu Lok Sabha constituency Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar does not own a house, land or even a vehicle, according to his election affidavit.

 


97.69 pc of Rs 2000 currency notes returned: RBI

Mumbai: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Monday said nearly 97.69 per cent of the Rs 2000 denomination bank notes have returned to the banking system, and only Rs 8,202 crore worth of the withdrawn notes are still with the public.
