DC declares holiday for schools, PU Colleges in Dakshina Kannada on July 25

Mangaluru: In light of the heavy rains affecting Dakshina Kannada District, Deputy Commissioner Mulai Muhilan, who also serves as the chairman of the District Disaster Management Authority, has taken measures to ensure safety. He declared a holiday on Tuesday, July 25, for all schools and PU Colleges in the district.

Kasargod: The District Registrar General of Kasargod E Muhammad Ashraf (55), was on Monday, discovered dead in a hotel room. Originally hailing from Malappuram, Ashraf was the district registration officer of Kasaragod.
