Vittla police arrested two accused related to a clash which occurred during a celebration to mark the formation of JDS-Congress coalition government. The arrested were identified as Vinod Shetty and Ashwath of Karopadi village.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday announced an additional 18 per cent dearness allowance (DA) to state government employees from January 2019.
