Mangaluru: Opposing the Central Government's decision to merge the Karavali-based Vijaya Bank with the Gujarat-based Bank of Baroda and Dena Bank, the District Youth Congress has called for Mangaluru Bandh on January 9.  

A Hindu temple was vandalised in clashes between two groups in Bangladesh's central Tangail district, a media report said Sunday.
