The results of five states where the election was held in India is somewhat promising. This is the first massive blow to the politics that was being played using lies, manipulation, and illusions through media. This is the first needle that burst the Modi bubble. This has to be perceived as a response people gave for massive bungling of country’s economy and anti people policies to Modi. The colour of blue fox Modi, has washed off in the torrential rains that lashed the five states. This is the first decisive result delivered by the people of the nation, that effectively shows the clarity in judgement after being under the communalism spell for long.
People of just country could not live with this of mind for the last 4 and half years. This government did not allow people to live there private life score get full saleem promises of either bringing back black money or creating 2 crore jobs annually.
Diktats were sent out to decide what people should eat. The government had entered our dining rooms. The families of those who lost their bread winners owing to false rumours of consuming or storing beef have been orphaned. Small traders suffered prong to badly executed GST. Middle class and lower class faced massive problems during the worse phase of unplanned and shocking demonetisation. Law and order situation went to dogs. Assaults were launched on someone as rational as Swami Agnivesh. The Prime Minister never commented on anything wrong done by his people. The fear of losing the secular fabric of this country was beginning to grow. But then our people have answered all our fears with optimism.
The party that ruined BJP, the man that was the most prominent face of BJP in Gujarat came to national politics to deliver bad administration. Self declared cow protectors massacred people in broad daylight. They even killed an upright police officer recently. UP CM Yogi Adityanath called it an accident, in a blatant effort to cover up for his people's excesses. Modi has dedicated himself to the service of his corporate bosses and most importantly, his puppeteers, the RSS in Nagpur. He has weakened premier secular autonomous institutions such as the CBI, RBI, ICHR and UGC. Four Supreme Court judges called a press conference and said external influences were deciding the course of judgements and cases at the highest law institution in the country.
RBI governor Urjit Patel resigned from his post on Monday citing ‘personal reasons’. People were sick of vyapam scam that was inconclusive and having claimed many lives in Madhya Pradesh where the BJP was ruling, and bad administration by Vasundhara Raje in Rajasthan again, a BJP ruled state. A good lesson has been served to the BJP with this now.
The attempt to twist the history and write convenient narratives as per the Sangh directions were on since a long time after Modi became the PM. This government ruined every premier public service units and institutions in its bid to remain subservient to its corporate bosses.
The rotten smell of corruption is too hard to ignore in case of buying Rafale jets ignoring the expertise of HAL.
To cover up for this act, RSS has started with its usual chanting of Ram Mandir again. They are trying to drown people in that hysteria in order to keep them distracted from problems that are really affecting their lives. The true colours of Sangh Parivar and BJP which had worn the sacred marks of Ayyappa Swami in Sabarimala to capture the Hindu votes in Kerala by spreading unrest and communal disharmony, are now in the open.
RSS leaders tried to instigate people against Supmre Court order, and get them on streets. They are trying to coin terms such as love Jihad, gau hatya (cow slaughtering) and matantar (conversion) to divide people. Even Pejawar Swamiji has spoken against Supreme Court order. Forget him, even our own PM whose duty is to honour the constitution has spoken in extremely bad manner against problem during his numerous rallies. He called Sonia Gandhi a 'widow’ a term much derogatory to be used against anyone. He said the widow pension was being usurped by ‘Congress widow’.
Modi government destroyed the banking system. They used the implementation agencies to suit their agendas. Lalu Prasad Yadav who stood to resist Modi was being jailed. The same regime evoked the fear of IT raid and took Nitish Kumar on to their side. More than anything else, Indians were being divided in the name of caste, faith, religion and all things that could poison the minds. It had conspired to destroy all the premier institutions by giving them up to corporate sector, that were built in post-independent India to take the country in the path of progress. But the people of this country are mature enough to show BJP its place when they realised that the party wasn't delivering on its promises.
The result of five states has delivered a massive blow to the BJP. If the opposition comes together before Lok Sabha elections next year, BJP may suffer a massive loss of face.
At the same time it does not mean the verdict is for Congress and clearly against the BJP. This is not a Congress wave yet.
People have indeed voted against the BJP but it's not a clearly favourable verdict for Congress. BJP has not lost its vote share yet. There is a small margin that separates Congress victory and BJP's loss in Rajasthan. The elite Rajasthan has rejected the lower caste BJP. A strong community like Jat's demand for reservation has also played a role.
Since Congress is being represented and controlled by upper caste in Rajasthan this victory is not that of shudra castes clearly. BJP lost Madhya Pradesh owing to self inflicted mistakes and arrogance. Anti incumbency wave was pretty clear in this case.
As for Telangana, we should not forget the fact that TRS has a very soft corner for BJP. The loss of five states has made violence and communal approaches inevitable for the BJP and Sangh Parivar in the coming days.
Now no one can seek votes in Modi's name. The Modi style of administration has failed totally in the last four and half years. The only route left is to divide people on the name of Ram Mandir, cow protection, hindu minority dry and violence if BJP hopes to come back into power next year. If RSS makes plans on those lines, the next year's elections will prove to be very costly. For this sake all the secular forces have to come together in solidarity to protect India from being appropriated. Else the opposition parties will lose all the moral rights to criticize the BJP and RSS and their communal politics.

Indore (PTI): The Indore bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court on Tuesday set up a commission of inquiry comprising a former HC judge to probe the issue of water contamination in city's Bhagirathpura, saying the matter requires probe by an independent, credible authority and "urgent judicial scrutiny".
It also directed the commission to submit an interim report after four weeks from the date of commencement of proceedings.
A division bench of Justices Vijay Kumar Shukla and Alok Awasthi constituted the commission while hearing several public interest litigations (PILs) filed simultaneously regarding the deaths of several people in Bhagirathpura due to the consumption of contaminated water.
The HC reserved the order after hearing all the parties during the day, and released it late at night.
The state government on Tuesday told the HC that the deaths of 16 people in Indore's Bhagirathpura area was possibly linked to a month-long outbreak of vomiting and diarrhoea caused by contaminated drinking water.
The government presented an audit report of 23 deaths from the current gastroenteritis epidemic in Bhagirathpura before the bench, suggesting that 16 of these fatalities may have been linked to the outbreak of vomiting and diarrhoea caused by contaminated drinking water.
The report, prepared by a committee of five experts from the city's Government Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College, stated that the deaths of four people in Bhagirathpura were unrelated to the outbreak, while no conclusion could be reached regarding the cause of death of three other people in the area.
During the hearing, the high court sought to know from the state government the scientific basis behind its report.
The division bench also expressed surprise at the state government's use of the term "verbal autopsy" in relation to the report, sarcastically stating that it had heard the term for the first time.
The HC expressed concern over the Bhagirathpura case, stating that the situation was "alarming," and noted that cases of people falling ill due to contaminated drinking water have also been reported in Mhow, near Indore.
In its order, the HC said the serious issue concerning contamination of the drinking water supply in Bhagirathpura area allegedly resulted in widespread health hazards to residents, including children and elderly persons.
According to the petitioners and media reports, death toll is about 30 till today, but the report depicts only 16 without any basis or record, it said.
It is averred that sewage mixing, leakage in the pipeline, and failure of civic authorities to maintain potable water standards have led to the outbreak of water-borne diseases. Photographs, medical reports, and complaints submitted to the authorities prima facie indicate a matter requiring urgent judicial scrutiny, the HC said.
"Considering the gravity of the allegation and affecting the right to life under Article 21 of the Constitution of India and the need for an independent fact-finding exercise, the Court is of the opinion that the matter requires investigation by an independent, credible authority," it said.
"Accordingly, we appoint Justice Sushil Kumar Gupta, former judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, a one-man commission of inquiry into the issues relating to water contamination in Bhagirathpura, Indore, and its impact on other areas of the city," the HC added.
As per the order, the commission shall inquire into and submit a report on the cause of contamination -- whether the drinking water supplied to Bhagirathpura was contaminated; and the source and nature of contamination (sewage ingress, industrial discharge, pipeline damage etc).
The panel will also probe the number of actual deaths of affected residents on account of contaminated water; find out the nature of disease reported and adequacy of medical response and preventive measures; suggest immediate steps required to ensure safe drinking water as well as long-term infrastructural and monitoring reforms.
It will also identify and fix responsibility upon the officers and officials found prima facie responsible for the Bhagirathpura water contamination incident, and suggest guidelines for compensation to affected residents, particularly vulnerable sections.
The commission shall have powers of a civil court for the purpose of summoning officials and witnesses; calling up records from the government department, hospitals, laboratories and civic bodies; ordering water quality testing through accredited laboratories; conducting spot inspections.
All state authorities involving district administration, Indore Municipal Corporation, public health engineering department and Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Board shall extend full co-operation and provide records as sought by the commission, it said.
The state government shall provide office space, staff, and logistical support to the commission, it said.
During the hearing in the day, the state government also presented a status report to the court in this matter.
According to reports, a total of 454 patients were admitted to local hospitals during the vomiting and diarrhea outbreak, of whom 441 have been discharged after treatment, and 11 are currently hospitalised.
According to officials, due to a leak in the municipal drinking water pipeline in Bhagirathpura, sewage from a toilet was also mixed in the water.
