Looks like the royal blue fox is losing its outer colour and coming back onto its skin shade. Some leaders within BJP have begun to speak about the bad performance of the party and failure of Amit Shah and Modi, in the elections held across five states.
Now all those who thought the fake royal blue fox was an original one and that itself was the royal leader for having spoken against the administrational failure of other parties, been stunned into silence now.
BJP is in a fix whether the party should face the election in the leadership of Modi or not. If the leadership changes, it would mean the party conceded that the performance was bad in the last term. If Modi is continued as the leader, BJP isn't too sure that it can garner votes like last time. At a time like this, union minister Nitin Gadkari has voiced out his opinion rather loudly.
So far, Amit Shah and Narendra Modi took the credit of all successes through the elections in other states. Media would go gaga over the ‘Chanakya Neeti’ adapted by Amit Shah.
It would be projected as though people voted for the best administration that Modi has been giving to the people of this country. Modi and Amit Shah had proactively campaigned in all the five states that voted recently, like they'd do with all other elections. Campaign strategy was designed keeping in mind the results of these states would have an impact on the upcoming lok sabha elections next year.
But then BJP failed miserably in all the states. Amit Shah and Modi who took credit for every victory, have maintained strategic silence this time and have conveniently escaped the responsibility of owning it up. This should have been an occasion for Modi to at least reflect on the lacunae of administrational failures to take stock for the future. Instead of that, Modi is still continuing to lamely blame Nehru for the situation India is in, today and even for his own failures. And instead of accepting demonetisation as a grand failure, he is trying to impose it as a mandatory success through his speeches. Nehru is the only answer Modi has, if one questions him about inflation, economic deficit, increased oil prices, unemployment and massive shutdown of co industries both small and big scale in rural as well as urban areas.
They still don't seem to understand the mammoth statues of Patel or Shivaji or Ram are not any answer to the real time problems people are facing. And it is during this time that Gadkari has said the party chiefs must take the responsibility of failure in performance too.
“If I were to be the party president, and my party didn't do well in the elections I'd take full responsibility of the results” he said in a meeting going over the performance of the party in five state elections, indirectly indicating Amit Shah is responsible for the dismal show. These words are major embarrassment for Amit Shah and Modi too.
This simply means Gadkari is not too happy with eh leadership of Modi and Shah. However, for the first time in recent days, BJP is trying to emerge from the mindset that Modi is inevitable for the party. Many BJP leaders are feeling stifled that they cannot raise their concerns against Modi and Shah duo. If things continue like this, they will soon join Gadkari in his stance. The workers and activists at base level aren't too happy with Shah and Modi that they are humiliating the leaders who struggled to build the party base. All these issues will definitely plague the party in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Dissidence against Modi and Shah has now found space in NDA too. Many allies want another leader apart from Modi to lead the equation. The shadows of Modi's misrule is definitely going to cast its shadow on the next polls.
Since Modi's charisma is waning, the allies are now negotiating to get more seats for themselves. The misunderstanding between Shiv Sena and BJP in Maharashtra makes one wonder whether they'll still go to elections as allies. Sena has always had its dislike towards Modi and now the party is using the dismal results of states to grind the axe further on the PM.
Sena wants the change of guard within BJP. As of now, Gadkari is in consideration as an alternative candidate for Modi. Even Rajnath Singh can make for a good PM with his experience in politics and parliament. Gadkari has charges of corruption on him and this had forced him to step down from big responsibility of being national president within BJP.
Now if he has to be projected as the PM candidate, all those allegations will resurface too. Having been cornered by the failures, Modi has reached the brink of his strategy. As a result he will fall back on the old ways of arresting terror suspects by the NIA.
The agency will reveal more suspects or make-believe terror plots to show assassination attempts on Modi. When the elections come close, we may witness explosions here and there. Even this time, looks like Modi has to resort on attempts on life or terror plot etc to win elections.

Hassan (Karnataka) (PTI): Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday said that the Congress government led by him was ready to face the no-confidence motion if moved by the opposition during the legislature session from December 8.
With Deputy CM D K Shivakumar by his side, he reiterated that they would both abide by the high command's decision on the leadership issue.
"Let them (opposition) bring in a no-confidence motion or adjournment motion or any other motion. We are ready to face it. Ours is an open book, transparent government. We are ready to face anything," Siddaramaiah said in response to a question.
However, BJP state President B Y Vijayendra and Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Assembly R Ashoka, clarified that the party, along with the JD(S) has not discussed or decided anything so far regarding moving a no-confidence motion against the government.

The winter session of the Karnataka legislature will begin in Belagavi, bordering Maharashtra, on December 8 and will go on till 19th of this month.
Not wanting to react to a question on the leadership issue, the CM said the Congress high command is very strong.
"D K Shivakumar and I will be committed to whatever the high command decides," he said.
Earlier in the day in Bengaluru, Shivakumar accompanied AICC Mallikarjun Kharge till airport from Vidhana Soudha, after paying tributes to B R Ambedkar on his 69th death anniversary, which had led to some speculation about possible discussion between the two on the leadership issue.
The power tussle within the ruling party had intensified amid speculation about a change in chief minister in the state, after the Congress government reached the halfway mark of its five-year term on November 20.
However, both the CM and Deputy CM had recently held breakfast meetings at each others residences, on the instructions of the high command, which is seen as a move to pause the leadership tussle between the two and to signal Siddaramaiah's continuation as the CM for the time being, especially ahead of the Belagavi legislature session.
