Bengaluru: On Friday, the Karnataka High Court directed the producers of Kannada film 'Martin', starring Dhruva Sarja, to use a tagline, 'A P Arjun Film', in all the posters and promotional documents for the movie in future. Director Arjun had approached the court questioning the producer's actions regarding his non-inclusion in any promotional activities of the pan-India action-movie set to release on October 11.

A vacation bench of the court comprising Justice S R Krishna Kumar and Justice M G Uma heard a commercial appeal filed by film director A P Arjun and ordered the producers to use a tagline declaring the name of director in all promotional activities. Further, it directed the producers to permit the director to participate in the promotional events for the movie.

The bench asked the tagline 'A P Arjun Film' to be included in all posters of the movie in future, exempting the already printed materials. Directing the producers to include the director in all promotional events, it also set a condition to Arjun that he must not express any negative comments on the film or its team in these events.

The court issued notices to the film production company Vasavi Enterprises and its owners Uday Mehta and Vasavi Mehta, regarding this. Further hearing was adjourned till October 14.

Tehran/Doha: Iran’s President Massoud Pezeshkian has warned that attacks on the country’s energy infrastructure could lead to “uncontrollable consequences” affecting the entire world.

In a post on X, Pezeshkian said he “strongly condemns” the strikes that targeted the South Pars gasfield earlier in the day.

“Such aggressive actions will not achieve anything for the American Zionist enemy and their supporters. Rather, they will complicate the situation and could lead to uncontrollable consequences that will affect the entire world,” he said.

Meanwhile, Qatar’s Ministry of Interior has urged residents to remain indoors due to what it described as an elevated security threat.

Authorities have not provided further details, but the advisory comes amid growing concerns over the safety of energy infrastructure and civilian areas in the region.
