PAYANN... A new chapter in Konkani Cinema

The vibrant Konkani community has long explored new possibilities in fields like education, business, art, and services, with a rich cultural heritage. Now, the community is marking a new milestone in the world of cinema with the release of PAYANN (Journey), a Konkani film that has been creating waves since its launch. Despite challenges like limited target audience and the geography of the Konkani-speaking community, over 100 Konkani movies have been produced since 1955, and PAYANN is now taking its place as a standout achievement.
