After Qatar, Kuwait summons Indian envoy, lodges official letter of complaint seeking public apology
Kuwait: Hours after Qatar summoned the Indian envoy over BJP Spokesperson’s remarks against Islam and Prophet Mohammed, Kuwait followed suit as it summoned the Indian envoy and lodged an official letter of complaint against Nupur Sharma, the BJP spokesperson.
According to a statement from the Foreign Ministry, the Indian Ambassador was called and handed an official letter of complaint against the politician who outraged the Muslim world with such a horrible deed. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s decision to suspend Nupur Sharma for her statement was applauded by the Kuwait government.
The ministry, on the other hand, wanted a public apology from Sharma for her comments.
Nupur Sharma did issue a public apology. However, before that, the BJP suspended her in connection with her controversial comments on Prophet Muhammad.

Minor girl kidnapped and raped; main accused and two cafe owners held
Latur (PTI): A minor girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by an 18-year-old man in Latur, leading to the arrest of the main accused and owners of two cafes where the crime occurred on December 4, police said on Saturday.
Police traced the girl within hours of registering the complaint. The accused, identified as Rihan Gulab Shaikh, was arrested based on the girl's complaint. Two others are owners of two cafes where the crime occurred, police said.
Police registered a case under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS), POCSO Act, and the Prevention of Atrocities Act, an official said.
