Dubai: DSBK is all set to organize its first, one-of-its-kind superbike racing event ‘The Adrenaline Cup’ on October 9 at the Dubai Autodrome here in the United Arab Emirates.

With the concept of ‘One day, One race, One trophy’ the event is grabbing global attention from the racers and sports enthusiasts. The theme of the race aims to bring top racers from across the world together for the race.

Unlike other global motorcycle races, The Adrenaline Cup will be a championship in a single race to test the riders' grit and willpower.

In a world of sporting events like ‘Isle of Man', World Superbike Championship, and the Grand Prix, DSBK’s event offers a different angle to the sport as it will give everybody the chance to race with and against some of the biggest names in the celebrity and motor racing world. "We've had a tremendous response from bike enthusiasts globally and considering that this is the first-of-its-kind superbike racing event, we are positive that this is going to be a pivotal moment in the history of superbikes." Salman Yusuf Khan, actor and director was quoted as saying in a Khaleej Times report.

Nasir Syed, renowned biker and founder of Creative House Scaffolding, added: "The DSBK Adrenaline Cup promises to be one of the most exciting and thrilling superbike racing events ever to be held in Dubai. The coverage for the event will provide a huge boost in exposure as well as access to leading industry experts to all the participants."

Noida: A 15-month-old girl was allegedly subjected to severe physical abuse by a maid at a day care centre in Noida, with CCTV footage revealing disturbing scenes of the assault. The incident, which took place on August 4, came to light after the toddler’s parents reviewed surveillance footage from the facility.

According to police, the child’s mother brought her home from the day care and noticed she was crying inconsolably. While changing her clothes, the mother spotted circular marks on both thighs. A medical examination confirmed the marks were consistent with human bite wounds.

Upon reviewing the CCTV footage, the parents were shocked to see the maid shutting the door of the room, dropping the crying child on the floor, slapping her, biting her, and striking her with a plastic bat.

The parents have also accused the head of the day care of negligence and misconduct, alleging that no attempt was made to protect or comfort the child. Instead, they claim, both the maid and the day care head responded with abusive language and threats when confronted.

Police registered a case at Sector-142 police station under relevant sections of the law. The accused maid, reportedly a 16-year-old helper, was arrested on Sunday.

“A case has been registered based on the complaint, and the accused has been taken into custody. Legal proceedings are underway,” a police official said.
