Thumbay Group’s Hospitality Division launches premium ‘Dolci’ brand of blends & brews Coffee Shoppe
Ajman: Blends & Brews Coffee Shoppe, the network of UAE-born coffee shops under Thumbay Group’s Hospitality Division has launched its premium brand ‘Dolci’ with its first outlet opened at Thumbay University Hospital, Thumbay Medicity, Ajman, on 14th January 2020.
Mr. Akbar Moideen Thumbay, Vice President of the Healthcare Division of Thumbay Group was the chief guest of the opening ceremony held in the presence of Mr. Farhad C, Director of the Hospitality Division and Dr. Faisal Parvez, COO of Thumbay University Hospital.
The ‘Dolci’ concept combines premium features with the impeccable service standards of the Blends & Brews brand, delivering an exclusive, personalized experience to customers. The new coffee shop features a wide variety of hot and cold beverages and an assortment of short-eats catering to local and international tastes. It also features a range of sugar-free delicacies including drinks, cookies and cakes.
Blends & Brews Dolci is located at the ground floor of Thumbay University Hospital - the largest private academic hospital in the region - close to the hospital’s main entrance and reception area. It is an important addition to the excellent amenities available at the hospital for the community. The store offers comfortable seating, keeping in mind the requirements of hospital visitors as well as the medical students who spend considerable lengths of time at the academic hospital. Small plane crashes in rural area of northeast Colombia, killing all 15 people on board
Bogota (AP): A small plane crashed Wednesday in a rural area of Norte de Santander province in northeast Colombia, killing all 15 people on board, authorities said.
Satena, the state-owned airline that operated the flight, said local officials in the community of Curasica notified authorities about where the plane had gone down and a rescue team was deployed to “assess the condition of the passengers.”
Colombia's Transportation Ministry later released a statement saying that “once the aircraft was located on site, authorities regrettably confirmed that there were no survivors.”
The aircraft, which has a registration number of HK4709, took off at 11:42 am local time from the airport in Cucuta, the department's capital, bound for Ocana, a municipality surrounded by mountains, on a flight that typically lasts about 40 minutes.
The aircraft's final contact with air traffic control came minutes after takeoff, according to a statement released by Satena.
The small plane was carrying two crew members and 13 passengers, including Diogenes Quintero, who represents the victims of the internal armed conflict in his region, the airline said.
