Kuwait: Member of Kuwaiti National Assembly, Mohammad Haif Al Mutairi has called on his country’s Health Minister to cut-off ties with India in the health sector. He has cited that the hatred against Muslims in India and specifically in Hindutva doctors have constantly grown amidst COVID-19 pandemic which Kuwait had not expected.

Manama: Indian Overseas Congress (IOC, Bahrain Chapter) donated 500 PPE kits to Rahul Gandhi’s constituency, Wayanad. The kits were delivered to the Office of Rahul Gandhi. Wayanad DCC President I.C Balakrishnan received the kits and handed it over to the District Collector Dr. Adheela Abdullah, and Wayanad SP, Mr. R.Ellango.

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, decided that it will open mosques in the kingdom for weekly Friday prayers after May 31, till June 20 except in Makkah. The move comes in line with the kingdom’s efforts of relaxing the lockdown measures.

A 50-year-old Indian teacher has died of coronavirus in the UAE, according to a media report. Anil Kumar, a Hindi teacher at Sunrise School in Abu Dhabi, died on Sunday morning, the Gulf News reported. Kumar was detected with COVID-19 on May 7.
