A Keralite working in Sultanate of Oman in a supermarket has been terminated from his job following a highly insensitive post he wrote in the wake of the worst-ever floods in the state.

Saudi Meteorology Authority announced on Sunday of the possibility of floods in Makkah because of medium to heavy thundery rain, the Al Akhbariya reported.

Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has allocated $5m for the relief of victims of flood caused by recent rains and monsoon in Kerala state of the friendly Republic of India.
