Case filed against Cricketer Hardik Pandya
Jodhpur: A court in Rajashtan ‘s Jaipur on Wednesday directed the police to register an FIR against the cricketer Hardik Pandya for his alleged comment on Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar.
While Hardik Pandya's twitter handle is @hardikpandya7, the court order is based on a complaint that refers to the handle @sirhardik3777.
According to petitioner D R Meghwal, Pandya, on December 26, 2017, posted a comment on his twitter account, which insulted Ambedkar and hurt the sentiments of the people of his community. The court has asked the police to register a case under a law on crimes against SC/STs (Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes).

Minor girl kidnapped and raped; main accused and two cafe owners held
Latur (PTI): A minor girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by an 18-year-old man in Latur, leading to the arrest of the main accused and owners of two cafes where the crime occurred on December 4, police said on Saturday.
Police traced the girl within hours of registering the complaint. The accused, identified as Rihan Gulab Shaikh, was arrested based on the girl's complaint. Two others are owners of two cafes where the crime occurred, police said.
Police registered a case under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS), POCSO Act, and the Prevention of Atrocities Act, an official said.
