Five persons run over by speeding train in Bihar
Bhabhua(Bihar), Oct 12: Five persons were run over by a speeding train when they were trying to cross over the track in Bihar's Kaimur district on Friday.
The incident occurred when these people were trying to cross the railway track on Bhabua road station after alighting from Varanasi-Ranchi Intercity Express.
They did not see Lalkuan Express was coming in speed on the other track they were trying to walk over and were run over, Mugalsarai Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Pankaj Saxena said.
Mughalsarai division forms part of East Central Railway (ECR) zone whose headquarter is in Hajipur in Bihar.
Lalkuan express was on its way to Gorakhpur from Howrah when the incident occurred.
The identities of the deceased could not be ascertained so far, Saxena said.

Jawan found dead in CRPF camp in J-K's Shopian
Srinagar (PTI): A CRPF jawan died inside a camp in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Wednesday.
Head constable Surinder Singh, who hails form Hyderabad, fell unconscious late Tuesday night at the Zainapora Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp in Shopian, the officials said.
Singh was shifted to Zainapora hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
Police has taken cognizance of the incident and started proceeding to ascertain cause of Singh's death.
