Mandsaur: BJP leader Manohar Lal Dhakad has been booked by police after an alleged explicit video of him with a woman on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway went viral, triggering widespread outrage. The video, reportedly captured on May 13 through CCTV surveillance, shows Dhakad in a compromising position with a woman after exiting a white car.

Following the incident, a formal FIR has been registered against Dhakad. Authorities confirmed that the vehicle seen in the footage is registered in his name, according to Transport Department records.

Dhakad hails from Mandsaur district, and his wife is an elected District Panchayat member from Ward No. 8 in Bani village. The scandal has not only sparked a police probe but also led to political and social fallout.

In response to the controversy, the Dhakad Mahasabha Youth Association has removed him from his position as National General Secretary. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has also issued a statement distancing itself from Dhakad, clarifying that he is not a primary member of the party and had only registered online.
