Militant arrested in J&K
Srinagar, July 23 : An armed militant was arrested by the security forces on Monday in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district during a cordon and search operation.
Police identified the militant as Waqar Malik, who was carrying an AK-47 rifle and ammunition.
The joint search operation was launched by the Rashtriya Rifles, Central Reserve Police Force and state police personnel in Humpora village.

ACP arrested in Mumbai for obscene act in front of nine-year-old girl; sent to judicial custody
Mumbai: An assistant commissioner of police was arrested by Worli Police in Central Mumbai under charge of flashing his private parts before a nine-year-old girl.
The arrested officer is reportedly under judicial custody, at present, according to a report by The Times of India.
The incident occurred in a garden on April 23, a police officer has said, adding that they arrested the ACP soon after the complaint was filed. So far, only one party has filed a complaint against the senior officer, the source has informed.
The senior officer has been charged with molestation and under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, the police officer said.
Further investigation of the case is underway.
