New Delhi, Oct 6 : Finance Minister Arun Jaitley Saturday said there are some more steps on the anvil to narrow the current account deficit (CAD) and bolster forex inflows.
The government has taken some steps and some more measures are likely to narrow CAD, Jaitley said at the HT Leadership Summit here.
Enunciating some of the steps taken recently, he said the government cut the borrowing target for the current fiscal by Rs 70,000 crore and allowed oil companies to raise USD 10 billion in one year.

Shivamogga (PTI): Seventeen passengers were injured after a private bus overturned in Shikaripur town in the district on Monday, police said.
Of the injured, 15 sustained minor injuries, while two others suffered grievous ones, they said.
All the injured were shifted to hospitals and are stated to be out of danger, police added.
According to police, the incident occurred this morning when the bus had just entered Shikaripur town from Shivamogga.
The bus driver, in an attempt to avoid hitting a two-wheeler rider who came in its path, allegedly applied the brakes, following which the bus overturned, resulting in the accident.
The incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed in the vicinity, a senior police officer said.
With the help of locals who rushed to the spot immediately, the injured were taken to hospitals for treatment, police said.
Further investigation is underway.
