Student sexually assaulted in Hyderabad
Hyderabad (PTI): A female student of a private pilot training institute here has been allegedly sexually assaulted by a flying instructor, police said on Wednesday.
The alleged assault occurred before December last year, the woman said in her complaint lodged on Tuesday evening.
The man facing the allegations, who belongs to Kerala, has since quit the job.
A case of rape was registered, and details would be obtained from the complainant as part of the investigation, police added.

Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi loses Jorhat seat by 23,000 votes
Jorhat: Senior Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi has been defeated in the Jorhat constituency, losing by a margin of around 23,000 votes.
Gogoi, who has been one of the prominent faces of the Congress in Assam, failed to win the seat as counting concluded.
