Upon their early Wednesday morning arrival at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, the team received a fantastic reception. The joyous faces at the airport greeted the players, who were then taken to a seven-star hotel. Following their arrival, the team met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

After the meeting with the Prime Minister, the team departed for Mumbai. An open-top bus parade is scheduled to commence from Nariman Point to the Wankhede Stadium in the afternoon. The parade will start at 4 PM, with the players expected to reach Nariman Point around 3:30 PM. A small ceremony will follow at the Wankhede Stadium.

The blue-colored bus, customized specially for the Indian team, features a picture of the Indian squad celebrating with the trophy and 'Champions 2024' written on top of it. The bus reached Marine Drive ahead of today's procession, reminiscent of the 2007 T20 World Cup celebrations.
