Mumbai: Veteran playback singer Asha Bhosle has been hospitalised after suffering a cardiac arrest on Saturday, April 11. She is currently undergoing treatment at Breach Candy Hospital, where she has reportedly been shifted to the Emergency Medical Services unit.
Sharing a health update, her granddaughter Zanai Bhosle took to her official X handle and said that the singer had been admitted due to extreme exhaustion and a chest infection.
“My grandmother, Asha Bhosle, due to extreme exhaustion and suffering a chest infection, has been admitted to hospital and we request you to value our privacy. Treatment is ongoing and hopefully everything will be well and we shall update you positively,” she wrote.

US–Iran first round direct talks conclude in Islamabad: Report

The first round of direct talks between the United States and Iran, held in Islamabad, has concluded, Al Jazeera reported citing sources close to the development.
According to the report, following the discussions, delegations from both sides agreed to exchange written documents, a move aimed at ensuring clarity and consensus on the understandings reached during the meeting.
Both the Iranian and US delegations arrived in Islamabad on Saturday, April 11, amid high security for the peace talks.
