Karnataka Lifesavers Bill gets President’s nod

Finally, the much awaited Karnataka Lifesavers Bill, aimed at ensuring the legal protection to those who save the injured people and admit them to hospitals after accidents, got the nod from the President. With the President’s approval, Karnataka became the first state in the country to have such a Bill.
