Court takes cognisance of Akbar's defamation case, his statement to be recorded on Oct 31

A Delhi court Thursday took judicial note of M J Akbar's criminal defamation complaint against journalist Priya Ramani, who has accused him of sexual misconduct around 20 years ago, and decided to record the statement of the former minister on October 31 in the case.
