Hassan: At least five feared dead, over 25 injured as truck rams Ganesh procession

Hassan: A tragic accident occurred near Mosale Hosahalli in Holenarasipura when a speeding canter lorry lost control and ploughed into a Ganesh immersion procession.

Preliminary reports suggest that at least 10 people may have lost their lives in the mishap. More than 25 others sustained serious injuries and have been rushed to HIMS Hospital in Hassan for treatment.

According to eyewitnesses, the procession was moving along Mosale Hosahalli Road when the lorry veered off course and crashed into the gathering. The impact left several participants trapped and injured, triggering panic at the spot.
