Consumer watchdog CCPA slaps Rs 10 lakh fine on Rapido for misleading ads

The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA), the country’s top consumer watchdog, has imposed a fine of Rs 10 lakh on bike-taxi platform Rapido for running misleading advertisements and engaging in unfair trade practices.


C Voter survey shows public support for Rahul Gandhi’s concerns over voter list in Bihar

A recent C Voter survey has revealed that a majority of people in Bihar are standing behind Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s allegations against the Election Commission of India (ECI) regarding voter list irregularities. According to the findings, 60 percent of respondents agreed that Gandhi’s charge of “vote theft” reflects a genuine issue, while 67 percent said the Election Commission should respond properly to his concerns.
