Govt to build Soochna Bhavans in 12 state capitals in biggest regional media push in years: Report

 In one of its most ambitious regional media outreach initiatives in recent years, the Centre plans to construct Soochna Bhavans in twelve state capitals, aimed at strengthening communication with regional press and consolidating government media units under one roof, The Indian Express reported on Sunday.


Decision on SIR in other states, including West Bengal, soon: CEC Gyanesh Kumar

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar on Sunday said that the voters are well aware of the motives behind the allegations of “vote theft” made against the Election Commission. He announced that a decision on conducting the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise in West Bengal and other states will be taken soon.
