Gangolli: The Annual Sports Events of the Touheed Educational Institutions, Gangolli were inaugurated on Tuesday, 3rd December 2019.

Mohammed Ebrahim Moulana (Prop. M/s. Quality Foods, Goa) inaugurated the event.

Abdul Rahman (Prop. M/s. Noori Fisheries, Nagoor),Mansoor Ebrahim, Maravante (President, Udupi Zilla Minority Cell) , Vasappa Naik (PSI, Gangolli Police Station) and Gurudeepak Kamath (Prop. & Trainer of Sri Veeranjaneya Gym, Gangolli), were other guests.

Boys parade and march past was given a start by the PSI Vasappa Naik. The Girls presented colorful drill and floor exercise amidst thunderous applause by the audience. A breath taking “Pyramid” was presented by the boys.

Later the Second session was continued in the ‘Moulana Abul Kalam Azad Auditorium’ Imtiaz Ahmed Kazi (Correspondent) presided.

NRI Patrons of the institution and well wishers- Mohammed Ansar Basrur, Ifteqar M.H., Nisar Ahmed M.H., Mudassir M.H., Mohd. Ibrahim Chougley and Azmuddin Khaja were present along with Nithin Shetty (Panaji) on the dais.

Aqsa  K. (PUC) recited Qirath. Maryam & Aysha Shahiba (PUC) translated.Fathima Madha (7th Std) rendered ‘Hamd’ and Haniya (PUC) rendered ‘Nath’, Rumaiza (PUC) welcomed.

Mumtaz (PUC), Samreen (9th), Safa Marwa (10th), Dikshita (B.Com), Aysha Misba (8th) introduced the dignitaries. Asfa Bagali (PUC) proposed vote of thanks, Khawla Kazi and Safa Sayeed anchored.

Bengaluru: The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation will operate 1000 additional special services in view of the Christmas festival.

In addition to the existing schedule, the special services will run on 19.12.2025, 20.12.2025 and 24.12.2025. Further, special buses will be operated from various places of intra & Interstate places to Bengaluru on 26.12.2025 & 28.12.2025.

Special buses will be exclusively operated from Bengaluru Kempegowda Bus Station to Dharmastala, Kukkesubramanya, Shivamogga, Hassan, Mangaluru, Kundapura, Shringeri, Horanadu, Davangere, Hubbali, Dharwad, Belagavi, Vijayapura, Gokarna, Sirsi, Karwar, Raichur, Kalaburagi, Ballari, Koppala, Yadgir, Bidar, Tirupathi, Vijayawada, Hyderabad and other places.

Special buses from Mysuru Road Bus Station will be exclusively operated towards Mysuru, Hunsur, Piriyapatna, Virajpet, Kushalanagar, Madikeri.

The corporation has also announced a discount of 5 per cent on the fare if four or more passengers book tickets under a single reservation. A discount of 10 per cent will be extended on return journey tickets if onward and return tickets are booked simultaneously.

In addition to the above, special buses will be operated from all Taluk/District Bus Stands in the jurisdiction of KSRTC based on the traffic needs.
