Bantwala : Aramgala Yusuf, a 68-year-old auto driver residing in Kudtamugeru, Kolnadu village, passed away due to a heart attack on Thursday morning. Originally from Aramgala, Anantadi village, Yusuf fell ill at home on Wednesday night and was rushed to a private hospital in Mangaluru. Despite efforts, he succumbed to a massive heart attack early the next morning.

Yusuf is survived by two wives, five sons, and four daughters.

Kalaburagi: In a tragic incident near Lad Chincholi in Alanda Taluk, Kalaburagi, a collision between a lorry and a motorcycle has resulted in the death of the motorcycle rider. The deceased, identified as Bhima Shankar from Balichakra village in Yadgir district, was travelling with his wife from Pune, Maharashtra, towards Yadgir.

Reports suggest that the lorry collided with the bike carrying Bhima Shankar and his wife, causing severe injuries. Bhima Shankar succumbed to his injuries on the spot, while his wife, Sonali, sustained minor injuries and has been hospitalised at Kalaburagi Government Hospital.

Following the accident, the driver of the lorry fled the scene. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident, and a case has been registered at the Narona police station.
