Bantwal: Ambulance topples on way to Mangaluru hospital; driver dies
Bantwal: A tragic accident claimed the life of an ambulance driver as the vehicle he was operating toppled near Anchikatte, close to Vagga, while en route to Mangaluru with a patient.
The driver, identified as Shabbir and a resident of Guruvayanakere in Belthangady taluk, was at the wheel of the ambulance transporting a patient from Belthangady to Mangaluru when the unfortunate incident occurred at Koppal Anchikatte.

The impact of the accident left Shabbir with severe injuries. Both he and the patient were rushed to a Mangaluru hospital for urgent medical attention. Despite the medical team's efforts, Shabbir's injuries proved fatal, leading to his demise, hospital sources confirmed to the police.
