Mangaluru, May 27: In the wake of the murder of a young man named Abdul Rahiman near Kolathamajalu in Bantwal, Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan has imposed prohibitory orders in five taluks of the district as a precautionary measure.
The prohibitory orders, issued under Section 163 of the Criminal Procedure Code, will be in effect from 6 pm on May 27 to 6 pm on May 30. The restrictions apply to Bantwal, Belthangady, Kadaba, Puttur, and Sullia taluks.
The decision comes as part of efforts to maintain peace and prevent any untoward incidents in the region following the sensitive situation created by the murder case.

Defending 195, Hyderabad restricted struggling CSK to 184 for eight. CSK have crashed to fourth defeat in six matches.
Abhishek Sharma (59) and Heinrich Klaasen (59) took CSK to 194 for nine with their splendid batting. For CSK, Jamie Overton and Anshul Kamboj picked up three wickets apiece while Mukesh Choudhary bagged two.
