Belthangady: Body of man who went missing on Saturday found in Nethravathi waters in Belalu
Belthangady: The body of Rajesh P (30), a resident of Belalu Purusharabettu, who had gone missing recently, was found in the waters of River Nethravathi in Balipe of Belalu village on Tuesday.
Rajesh had left home on the morning of Saturday, December 27, and did not return. His family, with the help of locals, searched for him, but he was not found.
The family informed Dharmasthala Police, who conducted an intensive search. On Tuesday, Rajesh’s body was found in the waters of the Nethravathi.
Dharmasthala Police officers arrived at the scene and are inspecting the area.

Congress MLC Abdul Jabbar suspended from primary membership of party
Bengaluru: The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President DK Shivakumar has passed an order suspending Member of the Legislative Council Abdul Jabbar from the primary membership of the party.
Shivakumar, who is also Deputy Chief Minister, has stated in his order that the MLC is to be suspended with immediate effect.
Jabbar is said to have been suspended for his alleged anti-party activities during the by-election to the Davanagere South Assembly constituency.
