Kadaba, July 27: A bike rider hurt when a KSRTC bus hit his bike near Mardala junction on Subramanya-Dharmasthala state highway on Friday morning.

The injured has been identified as Ratnakar, a resident of Nityanadka in Bantra village.

The KSRTC bus, which was heading towards Subramanya, hit the bike from the rear side. The bike rider Ratnakar sustained hand and leg injuries. He has been admitted to a private hospital in Puttur.

A bike parked on the roadside has partially been damaged due to the accident.
