Mangaluru: In a bizarre incident reported from Mangaluru, a car driver reportedly obstructed the way of an ambulance for several kilometers, refusing the ambulance to overtake it. The video of the incident, shot by the ambulance driver has since gone viral across social media platforms.

In the several videos, shot by the ambulance driver on his mobile phone, a red-colored car can be seen repeatedly obstructing the way of the ambulance from overtaking.

The driver can also be seen repeatedly honking at the car but the car does not move and continues obstructing it with its parking lights on.

Every time the ambulance tried to overtake, the car came in front and blocked the path. The incident took place while the ambulance was taking the patient from Mangaluru to Bhatkal.

The car reportedly continued to obstruct the ambulance’s way for over 40 kms. As of now, police have not registered a case against the person driving the car.

Bengaluru: The Congress high command has continued disciplinary action following allegations of anti-party activities after the by-elections to the Davangere South and Bagalkot Assembly constituencies.

The All India Youth Congress Committee has taken action against four district presidents are Syed Afrid Pasha (Kolar), Ashok B. Nayak (Vijayanagar), Nikhil Raj (Tumakuru), and Syed Abrar (Mysuru City).

The order states that the leaders were found to be inactive in party activities and had failed to discharge their responsibilities effectively. They have been temporarily relieved of their duties.

Earlier, MLC Abdul Jabbar was suspended from primary membership over alleged anti-party activities during the Davangere South by-election, while senior leader and MLC Naseer Ahmed was relieved of his role as the Chief Minister’s political secretary.

The latest action has drawn reactions from some community leaders and party members, with concerns raised over the leadership’s decisions.
