Boliyar: Pick up vehicle hits and kills boy
Konaje, Jan 29: A school boy who was standing on the roadside waiting for a bus died when a pick up vehicle hit him near Boliyar on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Prathyush (7), son of Shankar of Boliyar Ammemmar.
He was studying in the second standard at Kalladka school and his mother brought him to drop him to the school. At this time, the bus driver said that there was no school for the kids. When he was waiting on the roadside to go back to his home, the pick-up vehicle hit injuring him seriously.
Later, the boy succumbed to injuries. South traffic police registered a case against pick-up vehicle driver.

Trump says suspect was armed with multiple weapons at WH correspondents' dinner
Washington (PTI): President Donald Trump is addressing reporters at the White House after he and other top leaders of the United States were evacuated from an annual dinner of White House correspondents on Saturday night after a shooting incident outside the ballroom.
Trump said the suspect was armed with multiple weapons before stopped by Secret Service. One officer was shot, but he was protected by a bulletproof vest.
“He was shot from very close distance with a very powerful gun, and the vest did the job,” Trump said.
