Udupi, June 5: All the three police personnel including Hiriyadka PSI who were under judicial custody in related to the suspicious death of cattle trader Hussainabba of Jokatte have moved the bail application in the Additional Civil Court here on Tuesday.
Head constable Mohan Kotval filed his application on June 4, against which, senior assistant public prosecutor Praveen Kumar RN objected.
After hearing the argument, judge VS Pandit postponed the verdict to June 6.
PSI DN Kumar and jeep driver Gopal also filed their applications for the bail. But the judge has given time to Praveen Kumar to file his objections on June 8. Counsels Shantaram Shetty and A Sanjeeva were present on the occasion.
All the three police personnel were booked under IPC Column 177, 201, 202, and 203 for destroying the evidences.

Latur (PTI): A minor girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by an 18-year-old man in Latur, leading to the arrest of the main accused and owners of two cafes where the crime occurred on December 4, police said on Saturday.
Police traced the girl within hours of registering the complaint. The accused, identified as Rihan Gulab Shaikh, was arrested based on the girl's complaint. Two others are owners of two cafes where the crime occurred, police said.
Police registered a case under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS), POCSO Act, and the Prevention of Atrocities Act, an official said.
