Mangaluru: Tibetian Buddhist Monk Dalai Lama will arrive in Mangaluru on Thursday August 29 to take part in a conference organised by All India Catholic School at Father Muller Hall here in the city on August 30.
According to the reports Dalai Lama will arrive in the city on August 29 on a flight that is scheduled to land at 12.20 pm on Thursday at Mangaluru International Airport.
He is later expected to leave for Bengaluru on August 31 Saturday morning on flight.
In the wake of Dalai Lama’s visit to the city Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Sasikanth Senthil on Monday chaired at meeting with officials and took stock of security and other arrangements for the Monk’s visit.

Mullanpur (PTI): Rajasthan Royals defeated Punjab Kings by six wickets in their Indian Premier League match here on Tuesday.
Invited to bat, opener Prabhsimran Singh scored 59 up front while Marcus Stoinis provided the final flourish with an unbeaten 62 off 22 balls as Punjab Kings posted 222 for 4.
The Royals then put up a collective batting effort to overhaul the target with four balls to spare.
Earlier, leg spinner Yash Punja picked up two wickets for the visitors.
